Jennings County Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR) |
Application Screening Tool
Jennings County is using an application screening tool to help select homeowner participants in its Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR) Program. With funding secured from the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affairs, this program will provide essential home repairs to approximately 30-35 homeowners who meet income requirements defined by the Department of Housing & Urban Development. The preliminary application deadline is Friday, February 13, 2026. Please note that this is not an emergency repair program, and construction is expected to begin in Summer 2026.
Following the application deadline, a representative from Administrative Resources association (ARa) will contact homeowners with an application status update and discuss potential next steps. Homeowners selected to participate in the program will be required to complete an income verification process and an initial home inspection before any repair work may begin.
To avoid delays in processing your application and to ensure your eligibility, it is essential that you provide complete and accurate information. Any missing or incomplete responses may result in processing delays or disqualification. All submitted information will be verified during an income verification process.
When you have completed your survey, please press DONE so that your responses will be properly saved.
